“ Yeah, I know we preach abstinence and stuff, but you know, kids will be kids! It’s just how they act these days!
I overheard this quote on an NPR segment covering the RNC this morning. The interviewer was asking a member of the South Carolina delegation how she reconciles her stance on abstinence with Palin’s daughter’s pregnancy. For some reason I found this quote totally outrageous. This woman will stand on a pulpit and pound her fist in support of abstinence, but as soon as one of her own trips up she’s willing to simply brush it aside as “kids being kids.” Basically, this woman stands for nothing.
